The Church: From Stagnant to Vibrant

The Lord proclaims:
Stop at the crossroads and look around;
    ask for the ancient paths.
    Where is the good way?
Then walk in it
    and find a resting place for yourselves.
        But you said, “We won’t go!”

-Jeremiah 6:16 (CEB)

I am quite hopeful that the bride of Christ is finding her way back to her original vocation by re-thinking the meaning of church. I see people today being more willing to take a fresh look at Scripture and fearlessly questioning the validity of some of the classic doctrines that have developed over time.

There is a long overdue breath of fresh air beginning to be exhaled from the Church into the world!

"...there is a substantial critical mass of people and churches that are already moving.' ...While acknowledging that there are still many unhealthy churches, there is a justified 'change in basic premises, basic attitudes, basic mind set... on the whole, we are on the march...." -Peter Drucker
